LightWeight Infrared Camera Optris PI 640
The infrared camera Optris PI 640 is the smallest VGA-resolution thermal imaging camera in the world. With an optical resolution of 640×480 pixels, the PI640 delivers pin-sharp infrared images and shows them on our Mini PC at 24 Hz (deployment on the multicopter). With the housing dimensions of 46 x 56 x 90 mm, this infrared camera weighing only 320 g, incl. lens, is not only small, but also very light, which makes it one of the most compact on the market. Due to its low weight and high resolution, thermal imaging camera is the best choice for the integration into a drone or UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle). Optris PI 640 makes accurate measurements in the temperature range from -20°C to 900°C. The corresponding special Mini PC weighs only 300 g. The PC is currently exclusive and could be bought from us against cash payment. Due to its special architecture, the use of the lightweight Mini PC is possible at ambient temperatures from -20°C to 70°C. The RAM and CPU are installed vibration-resistant and operate in extreme environments. The data are recorded on SSD (64GB or 128GB optional). A 2-axis camera mount for Optris PI 640 with a GoPro camera and Mini PC is also available as a kit. A kit with a Mini PC proposal when purchasing Optris PI 640
Infrared Images of Solar Systems with optris PI 640
New "optris PI 640 with radio-controlled recording"
We offer a professional solution for starting and stopping recording in addition to our high-performance miniPC, which has been specially configured for the optris PI 640 infrared camera. Starting now, recording with the heat image camera may be started and stopped via radio (to control the UAV or the gimbal). This solution is provided especially for use with multicopters. Another option is to purchase a digital camera/real image camera featuring a 60° lens. This camera weighs only 50 grammes and may also be started using a remote device after adjustment of the infrared camera. The best part is that if the IR camera is started, the real image camera starts automatically, and the same happens when recording is stopped. After starting the miniPC, the heat imaging camera and the digital camera are started automatically. This makes manual activation of the camera unnecessary. Optionally, it is also possible to switch the video back and forth between the infrared image and the real image (using the radio device). The total weight of the optris PI 640, the digital camera, and the remote control module amounts to 300 grammes. Previously purchased cameras may be adjusted upon request.
